Good Life Garden Kids' Camp:
Kids, Farms and Food
When: 3 sessions available: July 6-10,
July 13-17, and August 3-7
Where: Good Life Garden and local farms
Time: 9AM-3PM daily
Features: This one-week summer camp, offered in July and August, will take a group of 28 children, ages 9-13, on field trips to local farms to see, pick and taste produce, talk to farmers, and learn the importance of eating locally-grown food. Children will also spend time with chef-instructors in the Robert Mondavi Institute kitchens, will prepare food to share later with family memebrs, and will spend time in the garden playing games and participating in art projects related to good health and good living.

Backyard Edible Gardening: All About Fruits, Nuts & Berries
When: Saturday, May 23, 2009
Where: Sensory Theatre and Garden at the Robert Mondavi Institute for Wine and Food Science
Time: 9 AM - 2 PM
Features: A one-day seminar designed as an overview on how to establish, maintain, and utilize the many benefits of a productive backyard edible garden which includes fruits, nuts and berries. The seminars will be taught by UC Master Gardeners and local gardening experts.
Cost: $25 per person (w/o box lunch); $35 per person (with seasonally-inspired box lunch)

A Very Special Mothers' Day Brunch with Suzanne Ashworth
